COVID Diaries: A chance to reflect
With the media and our inboxes being flooded everyday with COVID-19 updates, we are constantly being reminded of the toll this pandemic has had on our community here and at large. However, for some of you, COVID has hit much closer to home, and this has taken a significant toll on you as well.
Some of us have tested positive for COVID. Some of us know a loved one who has suffered from this disease. Many of us have had our lives and those of our loved ones affected by COVID in indirect ways.
As a way for us to cope with the struggle and isolation caused by this pandemic, SG is hosting Miller’s first: COVID Diaries: A platform for Miller students to share and reflect on one another’s experiences with COVID-19
We hope this session will be therapeutic and serve as a chance for us to come together as a community, share our stories, our pain, our anger, and our struggles to help us through these difficult times.
The event will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, 1/26 at 5PM. If you would like to participate but don’t feel comfortable disclosing your name, you can join the session anonymously or submit your stories through this link, which we can read aloud during the session.
Regardless of your current or past COVID status, we welcome you to attend and hope this offers some cathartic relief from these past several months.
